1In the beginning was the word, and the word was with the primate and the word was crude, perhaps a grunt, for “yes,” and two for “no.” The word was now with the human and the word was the human and without it, the fathers and mothers would still be just another primate. But, with it, eventually the gutteral utrerances would come to describe everything below their feet, around them and in the heavens above. — and soon, sadly, everything that was unseen and mysterious.
